You will work with plant management to develop the local HR strategy, deploy the global/regional one, and support various HR‑related activities. /p h3Key responsibilities include: /h3 ul liBeing the ambassador of Ball’s culture, driving the right behaviours among all plant employees. /li liImplementing new regional/global HR policies and harmonising them with current ones. /li liMonitoring compliance with regulatory ethical standards and local employee‑relations laws. /li liProviding advice and support to managers in grievance and disciplinary procedures. /li liAssisting the plant leadership team with communicating organisational changes. /li liDeveloping relationships with local universities, colleges, schools and communities as appropriate. /li liDriving goal‑setting and performance‑management processes, following up with managers where necessary. /li liLead and participate in negotiations with unions and collective bargaining agreements; addressing union‑related issues such as grievance resolution. /li liAssessing talent risk for the site and determining strategies to develop plant succession plans. /li liGeneral HR administration and payroll supervision (absence management, offer letters, employment contracts, changes to terms and conditions, etc.). /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 ul liStrong communication skills across all organisational levels and a customer‑service mindset. /li liPrevious experience in an HR business‑partnering role. /li liConfidence in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP SuccessFactors or an equivalent HR database. /li liExperience working within an international manufacturing/consumer‑goods/industrial environment. /li liConfident knowledge of employment legislation. /li liExperience working in a unionised environment. /li /ul bBall Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
