Main Responsibilities Take responsibility for monthly financial closings and actively participate in year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in management reporting. Provide ongoing financial reporting that includes thorough preparation and communication of variance analyses to identify key trends and variances from budgets. Support local management and affiliates in CEE during planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting activities that drive financial performance. Engage in the continuous development and optimization of internal processes and reporting systems within the controlling function, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with the Accounting team as well as local departments and affiliates to foster a cohesive financial environment and ensure alignment in financial objectives. Experience Required A completed degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or a related field is essential to succeed in this role. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience within Controlling or Accounting is required, preferably in an international context, to help navigate the complexities of cross-border finance. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP is necessary to effectively manage financial data and reporting tasks. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; knowledge of German is a significant advantage that will aid in communication with local partners. You should possess strong analytical skills and a high level of numerical affinity, enabling you to dissect financial data and draw actionable conclusions. A precise, independent, and structured approach to work is fundamental, as attention to detail is critical in financial roles.
