Project Manager - Drydock Operations
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of drydock projects for offshore support vessels. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
About the Role
* This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication skills to represent client interests.
* The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing drydock projects and interacting with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies.
* Responsibilities include leading and coordinating all stages of drydock projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing progress reports and providing regular updates to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate all stages of drydock projects, from preparation to completion.
2. Act as technical representative for clients during drydock execution.
3. Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
5. Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to clients.
6. Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Proven track record of managing drydock projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
