Role Purpose:
By joining our Product Platform Department you will cover a key role in Simonelli Group product design process. You will contribute to achieve our product development and quality targets while meeting our world-wide customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mechanical design of internal and external components of our products
* Definition of molds and interface with suppliers for the request and optimization of sampling
* Working in team to monitor the progress of the project Gantt chart
* Interfacing with suppliers for quotation requests and co-design
* Mechanical design following the criteria of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Total Cost Ownership (TCO)
Key Competencies & Requirements:
* Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Previous experience in Mechanical Design is preferred
* Strong knowledge of 3D design and related tools
* English knowledge: B2 level
* Microsoft Office package: good knowledge (especially Excel)
* AutoCAD and Inventor proficiency is a plus
* Be able to work by projects and by objectives
