Position Overview

We are seeking a sophisticated, client-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in one of Italy’s most prestigious luxury shopping destinations. This role is ideal for someone who can create an elevated in-store atmosphere while contributing to the boutique’s sales performance.

This opportunity offers the privilege of representing a culturally rich and globally recognized jewellery house within a refined boutique environment.


Key Responsibilities

Client Experience

* Deliver an exceptional, personalized client experience aligned with the Begüm Khan universe
* Represent and communicate the philosophy, values, and heritage of the brand
* Assist clients in-store, by phone, and through virtual communication
* Engage with an international clientele with warmth, poise, and emotional intelligence
* Contribute to achieving individual and boutique sales targets
* Build long-term client relationships with a client-centric, service-first approach
* Support initiatives to attract new customers and increase boutique visibility
* Actively participate in clienteling and outreach to nurture a loyal client base
* Support daily boutique operations and basic inventory control
* Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards
* Ensure the boutique remains immaculate and aligned with brand aesthetics
* Uphold operational discipline, security procedures, and luxury service etiquette

About You

* Advanced proficiency in Italian and English
* 2–3 years of experience in luxury or premium retail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

* Flexible with scheduling, including weekends and peak holiday periods

PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.


Purpose of Position

The position is established as a Sales Director, within the Consumer Retail & Fashion Industry. Focusing as an individual contributor in the key geographies as defined by the Global Head of Consumer Retail & Fashion, within the European Markets.

The role encompasses the complete commercial ownership of a set list of key focus development accounts, supported with a mutually defined list of new logo accounts for the vertical of Consumer Retail & Fashion. The key deliverables for the position would be:

New Business Development – 100 % focus

* The priority for this region is to identify, strategically position PSA BDP’s core focus products, identify and map out opportunities and to win new business, aligned with the vertical strategy
* Review, maintain and adjust the pipeline list as minimal as possible to ensure that focused energies are quantified annually, at minimum.
* Establish a targeted list of pipeline accounts, that are globally aligned with the vertical as a priority. The pipeline should be a mixed element that consists of:
* Globally defined Vertical Target Accounts
* Regional Target Accounts that the direct reports identify as Regionally Strategic Accounts for development (existing relationships/HQ Location)
* Country specific accounts that can drive immediate opportunity to realize new business wins
* Be a subject matter expert within the Consumer Retail & Fashion industry space

Existing Book of Business

* Build and develop relationships with senior management of the company’s existing book of business
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with the corporate operational leadership team of the account and the accounts performance
* Proactively engage, develop and deploy new business sales opportunities to further develop book of business within the accounts.
* Strategically align with Global Leadership to champion the account to support customer satisfaction and continued partnership

Lead System Demonstrator

* While the company has a team of professional presenters of our IT suite of tools; it is expected that the Vertical Sales Director will become fluent in presenting and holding deeper discussions into PSA BDP’s IT Suite of Tools

OPEX Business Implementation Support

* Proactively engage, include and leverage the Product experts within PSA BDP to leverage opportunities towards customers in face to face meetings
* Liaise and engage with Regional and Country Management Teams for opportunities to ensure that the opportunities are clearly communicated and shared, throughout the process, ensuring buy-in and understanding of the customers needs across new opportunities
* Work with OPEX Implementation team to ensure smooth and proper handover of new business wins and ensure a clearly defined implementation schedule is deployed and business is onboarded

Vertical Strategy

* Develop a regional specific pipeline that focuses on the rapid growth and development of the vertical, that is specifically targeting global head offices that are located in the different regions

Key Tasks:

To establish and maintain:

* New Business Development deliverance strategy to the business
* Deploy the Verticals Strategy to new customer base
* Establish, maintain and own both internal and external KPI’s and recommend process improvements and adopt lean logistics practices and a continuous improvement mindset. Ensure that KPIs are produced in full and on time.
* Meet with customer to drive relationship development identify new business markets for development and deploy that focused development approach to direct and indirect reports.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences and seminars.
* Identifying potential gaps in existing procedures, systems, and tools or related.
* Solid knowledge of international supply chain solutions
* Experience in Freight services is essential
* Strong relationships with Customer Network to leverage introduction of PSA BDP
* Experience in serving global customer in retail sector is essential
* Strong operations know how
* Very CFS heavy
* Market leader within Consumer Retail Fashion space inside the Transport and Logistics industry to empower immediate leverage of known network, along with subject matter expertise
* Experienced in Ocean Freight and consolidation services
* Ability to communicate cross-functionally within a matrix organization
* Ability to understand CFS Warehouse
* Discipline, Mature, customer oriented, team work
* Self-motivated, flexible and resilient
* High result orientation and customer focus
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Good in networking & relationship building
* Capable to make informed judgments and to generate practical, timely solutions
* Ability to travel freely globally
* Expectation of travel can be upwards of 40%

Qualifications:

* Degree holder with at least 5 years of operational working experience in global forwarding / logistics company
* Minimum 2 years of experience in CFS Warehousing Operation, contract logistics and related matters.
* Exposure and knowledge to 3PL and Order/Freight Management operations
* Excellent command of English and local language

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising the Business

* Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed targets by maximizing and improving sales performance determining the success of the store
* Analyze performance closely to propose development plans
* Guide the team in achieving and improving KPI’s using cross-selling and up-selling techniques in alignment with the Retail department
* Be a Brand Ambassador within the local market, evaluate opportunities to attract new clients, increase foot traffic and build loyal relationships
* Be available on the sales floor, upholding a high level of quality and exceptional customer service
* Achieve store financial targets by tracking store expenditures
* Promote omni-channel awareness within the team, and motivate and assist them in utilizing digital tools to enhance client relations and achieve business goals

Develop the customer experience

* Place the Client first, leading by example to cultivate a friendly environment and ensuring the Team is committed to addressing their every requirement and desire
* Encourage a client-oriented mindset by establishing and preserving solid client relationships, while reinforcing valuable after-sales experiences
* Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and high levels of client service by implementing the “Brand Selling Ceremony”
* Collaborate with other corporate departments to execute client engagement programs and events, ensuring client loyalty and enhancing client spending
* Take initiative to discover opportunities for acquiring new clients to boost store sales
* Actively resolve any customer complaints to uphold the client relationship with a successful outcome

Team Management

* Encourage a constructive and professional team environment that fosters trust, integrity and outstanding performance, leading by example
* Be a mentor, building team cohesion through strong communication and establishing a dynamic and optimistic environment, evident to the client
* Promote the sharing of information among team members and proactively organize daily briefings on targeted subjects
* Comprehend the needs and priorities, educate and motivate the store team on product expertise, sales strategies, customer service, and company guidelines and procedures
* Recognize skills within your team to recommend for internal growth opportunities, presenting the suggestions to the Retail Manager to establish the appropriate development processes
* Ensure team growth by providing guidance and conducting follow-ups on individual development plans
* Engage and hire top talent from the market through networking and scouting

Store Operations

* Ensure the team demonstrates the greatest attention and regard for the product, clearly reflected in every ceremony or exchange
* Guarantee that the display draws in clients and optimizes sales, following Company guideline actively seek Visual Merchandising and Marketing Department support according to store requirements
* Guarantee compliance with Company guidelines on cash handling, stock management, logistics, and all key reporting duties mandated by the head office
* Give insights and proposals when required to the Visual Merchandising team
* Collaborate with the Retail department to plan local events by setting ambitious and achievable goals for each client
* Ensure top-quality standards and service throughout store events

Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience in retail management or a similar role
* Proficiency in English
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

* High level of flexibility and ability to solve problems
* Capability to work a flexible schedule according to business requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising
* Familiarity with selling ceremony and client journey/discovery process
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software
* At least 5 years of experience in store management; luxury retail and/or beauty preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

* At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Store Manager in a ready-to-wear retail brand, premium level
* Experience in all aspects of store management and exceptional customer-oriented interactions
* Previous experience in managing the opening of new stores is appreciated
* Leadership skills and the ability to build, manage, and collaborate within a team
* Strong communication skills, effective in interacting with the team, colleagues, and senior management
* Fluent in both Italian and English
