TXT E-TECH, part of the TXT Group, is seeking a Embedded Firmware Engineer for a major project in the Aerospace & Defense sector, with strong expertise in firmware development and testing using the VHDL language.
Main Responsibilities
Support in testing and validation activities for VHDL code
Preparation of technical documentation related to requirements, design, and testing
Development of presentations and progress reports in English
Collaboration in hardware and firmware component integration
Development of Test Plans based on technical requirements
RTL verification through tests and simulations, using assertions and coverpoints
Preparation of simulation reports providing a clear description of the verification methodology, including assertions and coverpoints specifically developed for firmware validation
Essential Technical Requirements
Strong knowledge of VHDL, SystemVerilog, Xilinx Vivado, Catapult HLS, ModelSim/QuestaSim, and ILA
Experience with oscilloscopes and measurement instruments
Understanding of hardware testing techniques, including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing
Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems
Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of main communication standards: SPI, I2C, HDLC, UART
Understanding of SoC architectures and related bus systems: AMBA, AXI4, AHB
Ability to develop and optimize designs to reduce area and power consumption and enhance performance
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
