What will you do in this position?

Microchip is a global market leader in both components and complete systems for Industrial, Communication apparatus, Data Centers, Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, and Consumer markets. Reporting into South Central Europe Sales, you will be part of the European sales and applications team.

This role provides a perfect entry point into a long-term sales and client engagement career for talented, confident, and enthusiastic engineers. As a Client Engagement Manager (CEM), you will develop nominated local customers within the South Central Europe region Sales & Applications team; primarily focusing on demand creation and relationship management. This position will expose you to various business units globally and involve deep engagement with customers in Italy, Turkey, Greece, and beyond.

More details on the expectations and responsibilities include:

* Becoming a trusted advisor to clients through diligent, consistent engagement—developing relationships with engineering, procurement, marketing, quality, and all stakeholders up to executive management levels.
* Collaborating with internal teams to support accounts through activities like concept development, tender responses, quoting, customer engagement plans, and forecasts.
* Preparing market analyses and discovering new opportunities.
* Building and maintaining relationships with distributor sales and engineering resources.
* Participating in conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Collaborating with the European team to extend activities across EMEA.
* Using and maintaining customer data in CRM tools.
* Managing technical resources to drive projects to revenue, including electronics components and systems.
* Organizing technology events at client sites.
* Building strong business acumen and an objective-oriented mindset.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

* University degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Avionics, or Information Technology.
* Solid understanding of electronic systems architectures, digital and analog.

Competencies / Skills:

* Knowledge of electronics, microelectronics, signal and systems, power electronics, timing.
* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is an advantage.
* Fluent in Italian and English.

Travel Time: 25% - 50%
