Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Performance Analysis and Optimisation Engineer to join our team as intern, to support our project for installation of aerodynamic upgrade on wind turbines. This is an exciting opportunity to see how a multi-cultural team works. You will be based in the Milan office but work closely with colleagues abroadm mainly in Portugal, Spain and Scotland. Nadara has a vast fleet composed of turbines of all sizes and ages, you will play a key role in exploring innovative ways to enhance our assets to ensure we make the most out of their life. You will sit in our Performance Analysis and Optimisation team, using bespoke wind engineering software and engaging with professionals in the industry.
Job Description
You will get involved in our day-to-day activities such as:
* Supporting the development and delivery of a Nadara priority project involving installing aerodynamic upgrade furniture on wind turbines throughout our fleet
* Work on business cases for new Performance Improvement initiatives
* Evaluate KPIs such as production, availability and wind resource to ensure optimal performance of our assets and establish methods to enhance production
* Engaging with European colleagues throughout the business including HSE, Asset Management, Business Development, Procurement
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
* Fluent in English
* Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular good knowledge in Excel
* Great problem solving, time management and effective communication
* People skills
* Motivated to learn!
We’d Love, But Not Essential
* Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish
* Experience in the renewables sector
* Project management knowledge (e.g. use of Gantt Charts, Smartsheets, MS Project)
* Coding experience
