Lead and coordinate a team of FEM engineers working on structural analysis -
Plan, assign, and monitor simulation activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. -
Provide technical guidance and support in advanced FEA using Ansys and HyperMesh. -
Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and customer requirements. -
Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and project teams to support product development and optimization. -
Support team members’ growth through mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation. -
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in simulation methodologies and workflows.Work ExperienceRequired Qualifications: -
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. -
Several years of hands-on experience in finite element modeling and analysis of mechanical components, preferably in the aero engine, aerospace industry, mechanical transmissions, and Industrial rotating machines (i.E. turbines, compressors, pumps). -
Expertise in Ansys Mechanical and HyperMesh for linear/non-linear static, dynamic, and thermal analyses. -
Strong understanding of material models, meshing strategies, boundary conditions, and result interpretation. -
Proven experience in leading technical teams or people management roles. -
Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. -
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Nice to have: -
Experience with fatigue, fracture mechanics, and life prediction methodologies. -
Programming/scripting skills for analysis automation (APDL, Python, etc.)Additional requirement: In accordance with applicable national security regulations, this position may involve access to classified information or participation in restricted programs.
