Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Senior Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee supplier labor management in coordination with General Contractor, Scheduling Teams, and Internal Planning Teams to align schedules and deliverables.
* Manage schedule compliance and escalations from field team to support installation and Cx activities as required to drive efficiencies between supplier and general contractor.
* Negotiate and manage change orders for overtime, schedule compression, and acceleration as needed.
Change Order Management
* Lead change orders after CDEs & Tech Submittals are complete with suppliers before construction begins.
* Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, and partner cross-functionally to resolve or escalate accordingly.
* Attend management meetings post-delivery to ensure change orders for additional equipment are executed promptly.
* Act as the commercial Subject Matter Expert and prescribe appropriate entitlement and justification for all change orders.
* Negotiate claims with a detailed understanding of contractual conditions and partner with regional claims teams to settle or escalate.
Material Management & Quality Assurance
* Facilitate the delivery and inspection of MEP/OFCI equipment once delivered to site, including sign-offs.
* Manage the receiving process of supplier equipment on site and response time to defect resolution related to quality issues.
* Ensure alignment on design changes post-IFC to support procurement and engineering teams.
* Coordinate project design information, specifications, compliance documents, and technical submittals.
* Monitor compliance of the GC’s CFCI process such as material receiving, inspection, custody, and preservation.
* Manage site-specific delivery scheduling, on-time delivery performance, and reporting.
* Communicate scheduling delays to relevant stakeholders.
* Oversee site-specific LLE performance and collaborate with partners to resolve issues proactively.
* Manage technical risk related to design timelines and service level agreements.
* Act as liaison between supplier, engineers, architects, and supply chain teams for complex post-award design alignment.
The role partners with the broader Global Supply Chain teams to meet on-time delivery for large, complex capital projects. Responsibilities include strategy development, supplier selection, contract management, and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications
* Required: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations.
* Preferred: Degree in technical or financial fields; hyperscale data center or large building construction experience; knowledge of data center industry; ability to lead project teams and define risks; high energy and results-driven attitude; technical contract writing and sourcing skills.
