The Production Coordinator oversees and coordinates the entire production process, from sample development through industrial production, ensuring compliance with the brand’s quality standards, timelines, and cost sustainability. The role serves as a key point of coordination between internal teams, external suppliers, and garment manufacturers, ensuring the successful and consistent execution of collections.
Responsibilities
* Define and manage the overall production calendar, including both sample development and industrial production.
* Coordinate the launch of collections in line with market cycles and commercial timelines.
* Plan and monitor production schedules, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines and on-time deliveries.
* Support the product team in managing and updating Work In Progress (WIP) production files.
* Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners, directly addressing and resolving technical and production-related issues.
* Continuously monitor development and production phases to prevent delays, inefficiencies, or non-conformities.
* Select, manage, and evaluate suppliers of raw materials, accessories, and garment manufacturing.
* Support fabric quality control activities during production and maintain proper archiving of quality reports.
* Monitor and control production costs, material waste, and overall production efficiency.
* Optimize resources and production timelines to reduce unnecessary costs and improve operational performance.
Knowledge and skills
* Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Fashion Management or related fields.
* At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within the textile manufacturing sector.
* Excellent knowledge of apparel production processes.
* Strong managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and familiarity with production management systems (e.g. Zedonk).
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
