The role focuses on helping sites implement commodity strategies to improve year-over-year savings and strengthen supplier performance. It covers tender-to-project activities to source third parties with a view to savings, compliance, and efficiency. The Buyer evaluates supplier options, shapes pricing and performance requirements, and identifies the most effective supply chain model to obtain goods and services at favorable prices.
