PpThe Operations Officer plays a key role in overseeing operational activities related to precious metals transactions for Producers (Mining) clients, with a primary focus on inbound flows from mines to Group refineries. The role is critical to ensuring robust operational controls and the accurate, timely, and efficient execution of transactions across multiple locations. /p h3MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pThe role encompasses end-to-end operational management of both physical and derivative transactions, including but not limited to: /p ulliBooking trades in internal systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing. /liliMonitoring precious metals shipments in close coordination with the Logistics team to ensure efficient execution of physical deliveries, including the completeness and accuracy of all shipping documentation (airway bills, packing lists, collection advice, assay certificates, etc.). /liliMonitoring provisional and final price fixings. /liliForecasting, booking, and following up on provisional and final payments related to precious metals supply, in line with contractual payment terms and shipment milestones (transit, arrival, assay), and in close collaboration with the Treasury team. /liliPreparing and ensuring accurate invoicing for goods and services (including refining treatment charges, transportation costs, and interest), and compiling all required documentation for physical deliveries and derivatives transactions. /liliMonitoring and reconciling client trade accounts, market positions, collateral, inventories, and balances to mitigate operational, market, and credit risks. /liliReconciling accounting entries with audit statements and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. /liliIdentifying, investigating, and escalating operational issues as appropriate. /liliLiaising with all stakeholders involved in Producer flows, including Relationship Managers, Logistics teams, agents at origin and destination, inspection companies and laboratories, Treasury, customers, and suppliers, to ensure a smooth and timely flow of information. /li /ul h3REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ulliBachelor\'s degree level in Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or another relevant field. /liliMinimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a supply chain department or in a financial/trading institution. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS /h3 ulliSelf-motivated and able to work independently. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. /liliExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client-oriented mindset. /liliProactive, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities. /liliStrong team player, comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment. /liliAbility to perform under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks. /liliSolid IT skills, with proficiency in an Office 365 environment. /liliFluent in English Italian; French is a plus. /liliSwiss or EU national or holder of a valid Swiss work permit. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
