To further strengthen our global Credit Control organization, we are expanding our invoicing and collection capabilities within our teams in Italy and the United States. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pAs an bInvoicing Accountant (m/f/d) /b, you will be part of the NACOS Marine Credit Control team, working within an international setup spanning Italy and the US. In this role, you will take ownership of invoicing and collection activities across commercial projects, services, and spare parts orders, ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and effective credit risk management. /p pYou will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities while contributing to stable cash flow and financial transparency across the business. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform invoicing for commercial projects (PS), customer service (CS), and spare parts (SD) orders /li liMonitor receivables, manage dunning activities, and follow up on overdue payments /li liHandle customer claims related to invoicing and collections /li liPlan payment milestones and cost rollouts for major newbuild, refit, and service projects /li liSupport monthly and year-end closing activities as well as financial planning tasks /li liIdentify, assess, and follow up on invoicing risks and issues /li liSupport customer credit evaluations and ensure risk assessments are properly reflected /li liCollaborate closely with Credit Control, Sales, Project Management, and Finance teams /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent commercial education /li liSolid knowledge of VAT and sales tax regulations; for Italy, experience with SDI (Sistema di Interscambio) is required /li liExperience with SAP (PS, CS, SD, and FI/CO modules) and Microsoft Office tools /li liStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detail /li liExcellent communication skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken /li liAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a structured and proactive approach /li liIndependent, decisive, and action-oriented working style with an entrepreneurial mindset /li liCustomer-focused, pragmatic, and motivated to support business outcomes /li liWillingness to learn, adapt, and grow with changing business requirements /li /ul h3Why choose us and why we’d choose you /h3 pAt NACOS Marine, you will join an international finance organization where ownership, collaboration, and accuracy matter.
