We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work. : Job Purpose The Master Data Steward represents the evolution of the Master Data Specialist role, as a consequence of our business environment where data quality is key to help drive operational decision-making and strategic planning. The role combines data management tasks, which primary focus is to minimize potential errors by establishing robust processes and quality controls on data, and data governance tasks, which consist in implementing and enforcing policies and ensuring compliance with data laws, security, and other regulations. The role, based in Vimercate (Milano), will have a Regional scope (Italy and East Countries) and will report to the LSCM Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Performs the operative tasks needed to assure business requirements on Master Data are correctly reflected into our system (mainly SAP); - Understands end-to-end master data processes and flows and uses knowledge to design and implement master data management solutions. - Provides business process, system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders. - Conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management and system. - Identifies and implements process improvements in relation to master data processes. - Identifies, reviews and evaluates master data management metrics. - Recommends ways to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise. - Provides training and support on master data process to users. - Represents the main point of contact for Central Master Data Management team - Ensures full adherence with Internal Policies and guarantees Compliance in the different steps of Master Data Management.
