TMEIC was established in 2003 through the integration of the industrial systems divisions of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.General Role DescriptionWe are seeking a new Cloud & System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate, under the guidance and direction of the IT Manager, will contribute to the management, monitoring, and optimisation of our hybrid IT environment, supporting high availability, performance, and security across cloud and on‐premises systems. This role requires technical expertise, proactive problem‐solving abilities, and a passion for delivering reliable services to the organization.Role AccountabilitiesCloud Administration

Maintain cloud resources (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).Support the implementation and monitoring of cloud security, identity, backup, and disaster recovery policies.

System & Infrastructure Management

Assist in administering Windows and/or Linux servers, both on‐premises and in the cloud.Assist in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.Monitor system performance and handle patching, updates, and troubleshooting.Maintain virtualization environments.

Security & Compliance

Adopt and enforce security best practices across systems and cloud environments.

Networking & Connectivity

Support network operations: VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching.

Automation & Monitoring

Contribute to developing and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.Assist in configuring and managing monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).

Endpoint Management

Assist in managing and maintaining corporate endpoints (laptops, smartphones, tablets) including MDM solutions, OS imaging, and device lifecycle.

Support & Collaboration

Provide 1st/2nd level support on infrastructure‐related incidents.Support endpoint deployment, configuration, and onboarding procedures (laptops, smartphones, tablets).

Minimum Qualifications

Good knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.Basic familiarity with endpoint management concepts (device deployment, mobile device management).Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience of at least 1 year as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role.Scripting and automation proficiency (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python).Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITIL incident/change management processes.Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).Experience with virtualization and containerisation (VMware, Hyper‐V, Docker, Kubernetes, Proxmox).

Preferred Certification

Azure Administrator Associate (AZ104)CompTIA Server+Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)Linux Professional Institute Certification 1 (LPIC‐1)

Soft Skills

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.Team player with good communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Proactive attitude and continuous learning mindset.
