WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY Take responsibility for your department goals across all channels, ensuring your action plan aligns with the country priorities for your Home Furnishing Business (HFB). Follow up and act accordingly using proven solutions and best practices. Maintain the shop in excellent condition, ensuring it is always fully stocked and that the IKEA product range is presented in an inspiring manner across all touchpoints. Apply active sales steering to top-selling products, prioritized items, and IKEA services in every channel. Use correct forecasting and phase-in/phase-out strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Monitor key KPIs and evaluate local market input, customer needs, and feedback across channels to identify opportunities or threats in a fast-changing business environment. Collaborate effectively with your Store Commercial Team and HQ to share best practices, monitor competitors, and implement proven solutions. Work proactively with HR to ensure the right number of competent colleagues are in the right place at the right time, providing the best customer experience. Ensure your team has the right growth mindset, product knowledge, and understanding of IKEA services to exceed customer expectations. Recruit, onboard, and develop your team, fostering engagement and talent development, with a focus on succession planning. Participate actively in sustainability initiatives, reflecting sustainability priorities in the store offering. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE Knowledge of sales techniques, local market and services, sales steering, channels, cycles, data analytics, KPIs, space management, and forecasting. Ability to make decisions, prioritize, and act swiftly by championing flexibility, speed, and simplicity. Strong interpersonal skills to build trustful relationships and make considered decisions. Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and processes effectively. Ability to identify business opportunities and drive high commercial performance.
