About the Project
The Junior System/DevOps Administrator will assist in maintaining MyHeritage’s IT infrastructure and automation workflows. This role is ideal for a candidate with foundational experience in system administration and cloud operations, eager to learn and grow under mentorship from senior staff.
Required skills:
- 2–3 years of relevant IT/system administration experience.
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS and/or virtualization technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD, and scripting languages (Bash/Python).
- Familiarity with MDM (Jamf, Endpoint Central, etc.) and AD administration.
- Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Motivation to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary IT/Security environment.
Scope of work:
- Support daily system administration tasks across AWS and on-premises environments.
- Assist in maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure and Spacelift pipelines.
- Monitor systems using Zabbix or similar tools and resolve basic alerts.
- Provide Tier-2 escalation support for help desk tickets when required.
- Participate in Jira-managed IT and security projects.
- Support identity and access management (Okta or equivalent).
- Learn and contribute to automation scripts and small infrastructure projects.
