Join a team dedicated to flawless execution and innovative solutions As a Scientist II, Formulation and Analytical Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing drug formulations. Your role will be vital in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficacy.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement formulation and process development activities, including analytical tasks.
* Draft Master Batch Records and protocols for laboratory activities, or equivalent experience.
* Ensure seamless communication with clients through project calls, emails, and meetings, providing progress reports on analytical and formulation activities.
* Provide technical support and supervision during method development and assessment for both biological and synthetic molecules.
* Actively collaborate with the Formulation Development/Analytical Development (FD/AD) team, sharing technical expertise and scientific support.
* Participate in internal and external training to stay updated on new technologies and advancements.
Requirements
* Proven experience in laboratory-scale processes for liquid and lyophilized drugs.
* Expertise in lab-scale processes such as lyophilization cycle development, filtration/ultrafiltration, terminal sterilization, mixing, and characterization techniques (e.g., UPLC-HPLC-UV, chemical analysis, electrophoresis).
* Strong technical and scientific communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to achieve project success and client happiness.
