Within the Climate research and Partnerships unit, we are looking for a Climate Partnership Manager.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Contribute to identifying partnership opportunities, joint initiatives, and advocacy activities to strengthen Generali's role as a leading actor in addressing climate change and building more resilient systems
Participate in the creation and consolidation of institutional and corporate relationships enabling strategic collaborations in territorial, infrastructure, and sectoral contexts
Play an active role in shaping the institutional agenda, key messages, and positioning priorities related to climate change
Develop position papers, strategic narratives, and briefing notes for executives and institutional/corporate engagements on climate, resilience, and policy topics
Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, policy initiatives, and multilateral processes related to climate change, assessing their strategic implications for Generali
Coordinate alignment with internal stakeholders, particularly the Public Affairs team, ensuring coherence and integration across climate-related initiatives
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:5–8 years of experience in institutional relations, public affairs, or multilateral organizations, preferably in the in climate-related and/or insurance sectors
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and build long-term institutional and corporate relationships.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Established network within the insurance and/or climate ecosystem
Experience engaging in multilateral processes and international forums (e.g., COP, UN, EU working groups) on climate-related topics
Soft Skills:
Strong negotiation skills and experience engaging senior-level stakeholders
Excellent ability to communicate complex climate-related topics to public, corporate, and internal audiences
