We are looking for an Analyst to join the team based in Milan and drive its growth and penetration in our chosen industries, and work with the most demanding clients at the senior management level throughout the transaction lifecycle. You will assist in growing our practice and in winning and executing business with ambitious clients across private equity, corporate and family-owned businesses in the Italian region. The key elements of the role Transaction origination and execution: Playing a key role as part of the execution team for M&A mandates Being a core part of the origination team working across the pitching effort Operating as a keen multitasker in order to deliver on demanding timetables Working in close coordination with other teams of A&M within the region and internationally on both origination and execution Transaction management: Along with the transaction team leader, take ownership of financial modelling and pricing with a focus on bringing real world insight to the analysis Support, in conjunction with other client advisors, all transactional documentation with a focus on transaction marketing materials Support the overall transaction process management (data room, other advisors, and coordination) Support in the preparation of valuation analyses, including public comparable, precedent transactions, discounted cashflow analysis, LBO/IRR analysis, etc. Monitoring news and developments in relation to targeted industries and client groups The Requirements You will be a high-energy individual and must like new challenges with true desire to grow professionally and personally. We would expect the successful candidate to bring: A high-grade bachelor's degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university in business, economics, sciences or a similar discipline; An MBA / CFA / CA / master's degree from a top-tier university is preferable but not essential; Relevant experience in corporate finance and M&A would be essential at the Analyst level Demonstrable financial modelling skills and overall familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Ability to leverage technology to consistently deliver work in an effective and efficient manner Fluent business level Italian and English is essential.
