Openjobmetis Spa, operating in the rail and railway signaling sector in the Province of Pistoia, is looking for a Project Engineer – Electromechanical. This role is responsible for preparing and coordinating technical drawings for the various engineering disciplines within the Engineering and R&D Department.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned technical drawings.
* Ensure compliance with codes, practices, policies, and performance standards.
* Develop projects using computer-aided design and engineering software.
* Estimate material, construction, and labor costs, as well as project schedule.
* Ensure projects comply with electrical and building safety regulations.
* Verify, control, review, and update drawings across various engineering stages.
* Use CAM/CAE for design and production assistance.
* Produce 2D/3D engineering drawings.
* Design electrical products and systems; create technical drawings and topographic maps.
* Identify and correct electrical system issues.
* Communicate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders about engineering projects.
* Prepare specifications for production, maintenance, testing, and procurement of electrical equipment.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Excellent knowledge of electrical/mechanical design tools (CAD/CAE).
* Good command of English.
