The Job's Mission As a Kit Operations & Logistics Manager, you will oversee the Kit Operations & Logistics team and manage global logistics functions in Italy, including: The Regional Distribution Centre Outsourced logistics platforms Kit inspection and assembly areas Demo and Education services Your goal is to deliver a Best-in-Class customer-focused end-to-end operation, ensuring high availability and service levels while maintaining inventory and costs within budget and forecast. This role involves managing existing facilities' performance, transformation projects, and volume growth. Your Key Responsibilities Support the Customer Logistics strategy for Iberia, reviewing processes, procedures, and tools to meet departmental performance goals. Manage a local logistics budget ranging from 6.3 to 8 million euros. Develop logistics strategies within Italy Operations framework. Build relationships with internal and external customers, aligned with the Country Manager and Customer Logistics requirements. Collaborate with other functions to leverage opportunities across areas. Participate in European Operations projects to enhance logistics and customer care, aiming for increased satisfaction, efficiency, and cost reduction. Manage the logistics team, sourcing and developing talent to ensure a motivated and high-performing environment. Set and monitor logistics KPIs such as inventory accuracy, stock levels, on-time delivery, productivity, and quality. Ensure cost-effective transportation solutions, regularly review contracts, and manage third-party relations. Manage the logistics budget, including headcount, freight, and instrumentation reuse, providing cost justifications for resources. Handle regulatory actions, product holds, and recalls appropriately. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 15001 standards, maintaining documented processes and data accuracy. Coordinate with major business functions to achieve key activities locally and across Europe. Oversee Warehouse and Kit Operations, including Goods In, Goods Out, and returns. Lead a team of approximately 16 staff members. Measure success through operational and financial KPIs, including service metrics, cost savings, and process improvements. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Logistics. At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain in international companies, preferably in manufacturing sites. Experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceutical companies. Minimum of 5 years in a people management role. Deep knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English, both spoken and written. Note: Interviews will be conducted in both Italian and English. Other Competencies Decision-making and judgment skills.
