What you'll be doing day to day
• Position IKEA as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Create inspiring and functional home furnishing solutions that improve people’s life at home.
- Use the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement strategies that ensure a clear overview and strong visual impact.
- Recruit, develop and lead your team, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Contribute to the department action plan and implement range presentation and vitality initiatives that support business growth and long-term profitability.
- Identify and act on commercial opportunities, helping your team understand how visual merchandising actions influence business results.
- Ensure that range presentation solutions are implemented with high quality, simplicity and efficiency, applying global guidelines and best practices.
What you'll need to have
• Education in Visual Merchandising, Interior or Industrial Design, and experience working as a Visual Merchandiser.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and engage people to achieve goals and drive business growth.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and new ideas.
- A passion for home furnishing and a strong understanding of how people live at home.
- Knowledge of the IKEA Concept and mechanical sales system.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Good command of both English and Italian.
