For our Italian Branch located in Caponago (MB) we are seeking a committed and proactive:
Application Engineer
The position is part of System Division with the objective to support Sales department during the complete bidding phase.
the main task will be specially:
* Prepare complete costing and technical proposals
* Review of customer specifications and prepare request of quotation for the auxiliaries
* Interface with all Burckhardt departments to prepare the required documentation for firm quotations as ITP, P&ID and GA
* Interface with procurement and plant sizing department for the costing of critical items
* Give support when required to the regional procurement team to find new suppliers in the assigned region and give inputs to update the Burckhardt Global Vendor List
* Contribute on the developing of the standard regional costs for Auxiliaries items and give support to implement in the standard tools
* Ensure fast project handover to the contracting team upon project closure on assigned projects
Candidate Profile:
* Master or bachelor's degree in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or similar education
* Experience in skid building business
* Experience in reviewing and commenting high demanding EPC spec (Shell DEP, Exxon, etc.)
* Experience on Auxiliary costs (Market Benchmark)
* At least 2 years' experience as project manager or project Engineer or at least 3 years additionally in other similar roles in previous Jobs (Project Manager / Application Engineer)
* Very good English knowledge, fluent in spoken and written
