About the Role: As a Shift Operative Leader, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for coordinating line teams and optimizing production factors to meet our high standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Production Optimization: Ensure the efficient use of production resources, including material, method, labor force, and machineries.
* Shift Management: Manage all production phases within your area of competence, including preparation, moulding, and packaging.
* Inventory Management: Support the activities of inventory management to ensure seamless operations.
Personnel Management:
* Resource Allocation: Apply defined criteria for resource allocation on lines, considering factors like skill development and efficiency.
* Consultation: Collaborate with the UGP Manager to allocate resources on lines for medium-term development.
* Change Management: Apply defined criteria for resource management on lines, including changes, break substitutions, and vacations.
* Vacation Planning: Grant vacations to line resources in accordance with agreed planning.
Maintenance:
* Request Maintenance: Request maintenance intervention in cases of breakdown or repair service, prioritizing urgent situations.
* Maintenance Verification: Verify that maintenance interventions are performed on schedule and adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement:
* Suggestion Initiative: Support the development of improvement initiatives within your area of competence.
* Proposal: Identify and propose areas of improvement for activities within your responsibility.
Production Oversight:
* Code Variation: Ensure code variation activities are carried out correctly.
* Production Interventions: Take responsibility for interruptions or slowdowns in production based on operator information.
* Line Preparation: Prepare and start up lines within your area of competence.
* Shift Handover: Support handovers between workers during shift changes.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
* Standards Adherence: Respect and instill hygiene and safety standards within your area of competence.
* Cleaning and Sanitization: Ensure cleaning and sanitization of areas within your responsibility.
* HACCP Directives: Comply with HACCP directives within your area of competence.
Workplace Safety:
* Hygiene and Safety Standards: Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards on lines through training and information.
Requirements:
* Educational Background: Master's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, management engineering, or chemical engineering.
* Language Skills: Fluency in English.
* Availability: Willingness to work on shifts and international mobility.
* Experience: At least two years of experience in production is considered beneficial.
