This role is open to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne based candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis and Requirements
- Elicit, define and manage functional and non-functional requirements with strong traceability.
- Translate business needs into user stories, process models, and system level specifications.
- Create clear, structured documentation and artefacts that enable delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops, refinements and co-design sessions with stakeholders, delivery teams and end users.
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders, designers, and engineering teams.
- Process and Solution Design
- Analyse and redesign end to end business processes with a focus on process gaps, efficiency and experience.
- Ensure solutions balance user desirability, business viability and technical feasibility.
- Identify opportunities for automation, optimisation and AI augmentation.
- Prototype and validate solutions to ensure alignment with user and business needs.
- Support solution configuration, testing and implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
- Lead collaborative sessions that drive shared understanding and decision making.
- Guide stakeholders through change, adoption and implementation.
- Support UAT and ensure solutions meet both user expectations and business outcomes.
- Agile Delivery
- Work within Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning and iterative delivery.
- Ensure user stories are well defined, testable and outcome focused.
- Occasionally step into Product Owner responsibilities where needed.
- AI-Enabled Business Analyst
- Leverage AI tools (e.g. M365 Copilot) to enhance analysis, documentation and insight generation.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve quality and efficiency of outputs.
- Identify and shape AI-driven use cases within business processes.
- Design AI-enabled workflows and requirements approaches.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Responsible AI principles (ethical, transparent, safe).
