Leidos is accepting applications for a

Part-Time

TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative (BSR) in Aviano, Italy. This role supports active‑duty military members and their families in the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The position helps ensure eligible beneficiaries receive the healthcare services and support they need.
Work Schedule

20 hours per week: Monday–Friday, 10:00AM – 2:00PM.
Responsibilities

Verify benefits & enrollments: process enrollments, disenrollments, portability transfers, and more using systems such as the Defense Online Enrollment System (DOES) and MHS Genesis.
Manage Primary Care Manager (PCM) changes: update individual and batch PCM records following military treatment facility guidelines.
Provide education and customer service: advise beneficiaries on TRICARE resources, benefits, enrollment, and claims both in person and by phone.
Assist with claims: provide basic status updates and support.
Conduct briefings: lead informational sessions for events such as in/out processing, maternity, and pre‑separation/retirement.
Maintain data: record daily activities and other health insurance information in applicable systems.
Assess and Escalate issues: evaluate the level of assistance needed and refer or escalated complex issues as required.
Maintain compliance: follow HIPAA regulations, handle PHI securely, and complete required training on time.
Collaborate and support: provide remote support, train new team members, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an associate’s degree plus 4 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 4 years of specialized experience, or a high school diploma plus 8 years of specialized experience.
U.S. citizenship or SOFA/Command‑sponsored status (dependent of an active‑duty service member, DoD employee, or U.S. contractor supporting the DoD).
Valid Missione Visa and Soggiorno permit.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an ADP IT III clearance (non‑sensitive, Tier1).
3+ years of customer service experience.
Essential Skills

Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Effective at delivering presentations.
Ability to communicate tactfully with others, both in person and on the phone.
Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the TRICARE Overseas Program, DEERS, DOES, and MHS Genesis.
Experience in U.S. military healthcare delivery or civilian managed care.
Experience in a medical or clinical environment.
Experience with MHS Genesis or civilian healthcare systems and medical claims.
Salary

The annual salary for a full‑time position (40hours) is $32,000. For part‑time employees (20hours per week) compensation is prorated accordingly. xjrgpwk
