The 'Beyond the Core Products' team is a multidisciplinary group responsible for partnering with hosts to develop high-quality, repeatable, and commercially viable experiences aligned with our brand values. We innovate ways to foster human connection and belonging through shared physical experiences.
The Difference You’ll Make :
As a Market Lead in Italy, you will manage professional host accounts, oversee supply quality and growth, and build Airbnb’s presence in your region. Your role includes developing acquisition strategies, nurturing relationships with hosts, ensuring experience quality, and expanding into new markets—both developed and emerging—to support long-term success.
A typical day :
* Identify and engage potential hosts to expand market offerings, ensuring alignment with Airbnb’s standards
* Support hosts in optimizing their experiences and growing their businesses
* Guide hosts in creating compelling visual content
* Collaborate with operations to streamline processes
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, working with legal and policy teams
* Connect with local teams and analyze market data for growth opportunities
* Represent host interests and advocate for resources
* Lead brainstorming to create unique experiences that differentiate Airbnb
Your expertise :
* 10+ years in community engagement, events, business development, or account management
* Strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams
* Understanding of challenges in creating social experiences and guiding hosts accordingly
* Experience in market growth strategies and performance optimization
* Creative problem-solving skills
* Ability to navigate organizational barriers and lead cross-functional teams
* Comfort working in fast-paced, data-driven environments
* Excellent organization and decision-making skills in dynamic settings
* Deep knowledge of the Italian market and network of key drivers
* Passion for Airbnb’s mission and community
* Fluency in English and Italian
