PPress Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link /ppSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert /ph3Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Layout E-BoP Designer /h3pLocation(s): /ppRome, 62, IT, 00192 /ppstrongRWE Renewables Italia S.r.l. /strongbr/strongTo start as soon as possible, full time, permanent /strong /ppstrongFunctional area: /strong Engineering /ppAs an Electrical Senior Project Engineer Onshore, you will provide electrical engineering support to our renewable onshore energy projects in Southern Europe, focusing on farm/plant layout and electrical balance of plant (E-BoP) design. /ppstrongYour Tasks /strong /pulliServe as the point of contact and take technical responsibility for electrical engineering during project development, construction, and operation, including: /liulliPreparing and reviewing concept/early engineering of E-BoP for onshore assets, collaborating with external engineering service providers as needed. /liliPreparing and reviewing execution E-BoP designs, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements. /liliSupporting regulatory and administrative filings such as environmental authorizations and building permits. /liliDeveloping RFPs for engineering work, evaluating submissions, and making selection recommendations. /liliSupporting tendering, negotiation, and procurement processes for the project’s E-BoP. /liliInteracting with external consultants and reviewing contractor design documents for consistency with project requirements. /liliSupporting grid connection processes, organizing technical documentation, test reports, and certifications. /liliProviding technical management on-site during construction, including managing electrical engineering units for wind, PV, battery plants, and substations. /liliParticipating in factory and site acceptance tests of assets and components. /liliCollaborating with the Construction Manager on E-BoP contracting and construction topics, including site visits as needed. /liliCollecting and maintaining as-built drawings and documentation. /li /ulliSupporting technical due diligence for project mergers and acquisitions, analyzing simulation results, reviewing designs, and proposing solutions. /liliIdentifying market opportunities for electrical engineering contractors, leading benchmarking and prequalification processes. /liliEnhancing specifications and designs based on operational feedback, harmonizing solutions with local requirements. /liliCollaborating with development and construction teams, and within the global electrical engineering community. /li /ulpstrongYour Profile /strong /pulliUniversity degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. /liliFamiliarity with Italian standards and experience with grid operators regarding market grid connection processes. /liliExperience in electrical design, construction, and operation of wind farm electrical components (MV and HV). /liliProven experience in onshore wind farm design and optimization, including infrastructure and interconnection. /liliProficiency in Power Factory or similar software. /liliExperience with tenders, project review, and QA/QC procedures. /liliUnderstanding of power system analysis, contract management, and technical claims. /liliAbility to work effectively in international and virtual teams. /liliValid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. /liliFluent in English and Italian; additional languages like Spanish or German are beneficial. /liliStrong social skills, high engagement, and intercultural awareness. /liliHigh ethical standards aligning with RWE Renewables’ values and conduct. /li /ulpstrongApply with just a few clicks: /strong ad code strong90410 /strong, application period: strong15/08/2025 /strong.br/Questions? strongContact HR: /strong Ivan Malcolm D'Silva, /ppWe look forward to meeting you.
