2 57 61 - Provision of SATCOM Power technician Support Services (1)

Responsibilities
* Prime Power and Generators
o Maintain prime power systems (transformer vaults to distribution boards);
o Operate and maintain diesel-electric generators, ensuring fuel supply and availability;
o Provide compliance inspections in accordance with CEI 64/08 prescriptions.
* No-Break Power Systems
o Operate and maintain UPS, batteries, and emergency lighting.
* Ancillary Systems
o Perform preventive maintenance on cross-site cabling, grounding, lightning protection, radomes;
o EMP pneumatic doors, and hydraulic systems;
o Provide basic maintenance of site security systems (gates, bollards, access infrastructure).
o Provide maintenance of HVAC, heating, air handling units, and fire protection systems;
o Collaborate with industry providers for contracted services under Site Engineer oversight.
* Support Activities
o Maintain accurate service records in TT-Comms, ITSM, and site logbooks;
o Provide monthly status reports on maintenance, incidents, and improvements;
o Support Site Engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
Qualifications
* Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required: Mandatory:
* The Contractor shall fulfil the following requirements:
* Security Clearance: The Contractor shall possess valid NATO-SECRET Personal Security Clearances for the duration of the Contract performance;
* Language Proficiency: English: C1 + Local assignment language fluency (desirable);
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related 5 years technical experience;
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in power systems maintenance, troubleshooting;
* Expertise in power distribution systems, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units, and generators;
* Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining equipment such as rectifiers, inverters, and RF amplifiers, with working knowledge of remote telemetry and control systems;
* Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and technical documentation for classified or mission-critical operations. 6+;
* Familiarity with DoD power system standards, STIG compliance for infrastructure components, and audit support for operational readiness.
