Then What
We are looking for Senior IBM i System Administrator and you will be responsible for the design, development, administration, and maintenance of software components and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities
* Administration of iSeries/IBM i systems, including LPAR management, virtual resources, and HW/SW configurations.
* Installation, tuning, and troubleshooting of IBM MQ; backup management and recovery policies via IBM BRMS.
* Management of jobs, subsystems, and process automation to ensure operational efficiency and high performance.
* Continuous system tuning, log analysis, and performance monitoring to resolve operational anomalies and provide periodic reporting.
* Implementation of system security (users, authorizations, auditing) and management of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes.
* Management of PTF (Program Temporary Fix) patches and integration with SAN infrastructures and external systems.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in managing production IBM i environments and full-stack development tasks.
* Preferred experience with TANGO04 (monitoring), MAXAVA (HA/Replication), and GoAnywhere (MFT).
* Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems; familiarity with OpenShift is a plus.
* Basic CL (Control Language) programming skills; knowledge of C++ or Java is an advantage.
* Availability for 24/7 on-call duty on a rotational basis and extraordinary activities (e.G., Saturday maintenance). xjrgpwk
* Proficient in Agile development and familiar with Incident, Problem, and Change Management procedures (SLAs/Escalation).
