For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a Customer Quality Specialist located in Piacenza. Main Responsibilities
Manage claims arising from the field: analysis of causes, impacted products, corrective actions Manage relationships with civil and military customers Manage relationships with Central Quality Manage product testing with customer at supplier side or internally Manage Civil and Military Certification (according to the standards in force and decided by the Company) Monitor the quality performance of product lines through periodic Quality Meetings Coordinate activities related to recall campaigns, defining corrective actions, opening and closing the campaigns Conduct visits to customers to review issues firsthand Prepare and draft product compliance documentation or customer quality plans in accordance with current regulations Represent the Quality department in Platform meetings for the development of new products
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer orders for both new products and series products, ensuring accuracy and timely processing Coordinate logistics activities related to orders, including transport bookings and the management of customer‑owned packaging flows Oversee CSR activities and related processes Maintain and update master data (customers, products, etc.) and manage price lists Handle administrative tasks related to invoicing adjustments, including debit and credit notes Ensure effective management of internal and external communication flows
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Quality, preferably in Defence, Aerospace, or Automotive sectors. Strong knowledge of quality standards and management systems such as ISO 9001, AQAP 2110. Availability to travel (30% to 50% of working hours), both nationally and internationally. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and problem‑solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA). Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and special processes (materials, weldments, heat treatments, machining, coatings, electronics, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T;, and quality specifications. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing suppliers and internal functions. Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Education & Required Skills
High school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree. Brief experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Native‑level Italian and fluent English; knowledge of an additional language (French and/or German) is considered a plus. Digital mindset and familiarity with major ERP systems. Teamwork attitude, with a dynamic and flexible approach.
