In both the Allison Transmission and Allison Off-Highway Drive and Motion Systems business units, our team strives to Improve the Way the World Works. /ppbr/ppLearn more about this role and how you can beginem driving your career forward! /em /ppbr/ppstrongRole Purpose /strong /ppParticipate to the project of transferring accounting processes currently managed by Dana Finance SSO Lithuania to a new provider in India “SSP” for all Allison Off Highway entities (AOH). /ppFacilitate communication between local AOH team and SSP team, following up the performance of the SSP ensuring the sustainability of the service while helping local Finance team to guarantee compliance (regulatory-group and SOX), books accuracy and timely closings. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliParticipate in transferring from current Shared Services SSO to SSP and related implications at local entity level. /liliCoordinate accounting activities and communication between the SSP and the local AOH organizations, acting as the main point of contact. /liliMonitor the performance of SSP and work as a team to improve constantly the quality of services provided. /liliCooperate to allow local AOH Finance team to ensure local fiscal regulations (also VAT), accounting standards and Group policies and internal/SOX controls. /liliCollaborate with the local AOH organization and the SSP to improve processes and systems. /liliSupport local AOH Finance team on internal and external audits. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /pulliDegree in Economics, Finance, or related fields. /liliAt least 5 years of experience in general accounting and financial closings, preferably in international environments. /liliIn-depth knowledge of local accounting principles. /liliKnowledge of USGAAP and SOX is a plus. /liliStrong proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools. /liliAbility to coordinate and manage external service providers, previous experience with remote SSO is a plus. /liliFluent in English (written and spoken). /liliStrong problem-solving skills and intercultural communication abilities. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongSoft Skills /strong /pulliCollaborative leadership /liliProactive /liliResults-oriented with attention to details. /liliAbility to work in complex / matrix and multicultural environments. /li /ulpbr/ppAllison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
