The SW architecture department is building a best-in-class team focus on the design of the next generation ECUs to deploy the Stellantis SW platform. In this role, the SW architect will work closely with the HW and system architecture, base SW development, integration and validation teams. Beside excellent project and technical execution capabilities, we expect a mindset for continuous improvement and discovery. The position requires a deep understanding of the requirements of automotive embedded software development, as well as a deep understanding of modern software development concepts derived from automotive and non-automotive platforms such as Classic Autosar, Adaptive Autosar, Linux, QNX and Android. Job Responsibilities Include
Definition of the SW Architecture and Requirements, for High-Performance Computer (HPC) and Zone Control Unit (ZCU) focusing on high level concept, low-level drivers, middleware, SW libraries / frameworks and communication protocols Define strategic processes for HPC/ZCU: start-up, failure detection, VM interaction, Hypervisor configuration, recovery/degraded mode, power and thermal management. Define system relevant KPIs and allocation of system resources and track them at each SW release Work with HW architects to define SW architecture and requirements for Base SW development Work with application SW architects to integrate applications into ECUs Requirements
Masters degree in Electrical, Software Engineering or Computer Science Strong experience in SW architecture with minimum 5+ years at SW architecture role Strong experience in the following domains: ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis, Connected Services. Knowledge on the Infotainment and Cluster domain is mandatory Experience with SoC architecture, POSIX OS (QNX, Linux) and embedded hypervisors Experience with microcontroller and hardware interfaces, communications protocols and device driver development (e.g. PWM, DIO, SPI, CAN-FD, UART, SPI, LVDS, GPIO) Experience with Classic and Adaptive Autosar, SW Architecture and specifications Strong experience in Requirement management using IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation (DNG) tool Experience with UML design and Rhapsody (mandatory) / PREEvision (nice to have) Experience with automotive communication protocols (LIN, CAN, Ethernet) and service-oriented interface design Ability to work in multicultural global organization, teamwork oriented, structured in work and ability to take initiatives Understanding of ASPICE and ISO26262 in relation to software development Experience with planning, status & risk reporting and escalation prioritization Preferred Qualifications
