CONTEXT
The Global Application & Processes Manager is responsible for collaborating with multiple stakeholders to lead project activities, including preparing deliverables, designing processes, and managing business partner iterations. This role involves defining current and future business processes within the Menarini Group, identifying issues and risks, suggesting mitigation strategies, and driving technological solutions. The ideal candidate should:

The role oversees the implementation, management, and optimization of Manufacturing and Engineering solutions, focusing on Production Execution, Logistics, Engineering (maintenance, calibration, equipment commissioning), Pharma Serialization, and EHS. Responsibilities include configuring systems, managing updates, troubleshooting, and working closely with Solution Architects and Infrastructure Leads for system setup.
The manager will also gather requirements from stakeholders, translate them into documentation, develop business cases, and deliver cost-effective solutions, incorporating feedback for future improvements.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Mapping and analyzing business processes and their impacts
2. Modeling current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') processes
3. Identifying opportunities for operational improvements aligned with business goals
4. Benchmarking emerging technologies for manufacturing process impact
5. Acting as Change Manager for organizational projects
6. Supporting change management with key users and process owners
7. Collaborating across departments to understand needs and pain points
Project Management and Execution
1. Engaging with key users and process owners
2. Gathering and analyzing requirements
3. Designing technical solutions
4. Managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources
5. Leading or participating in multiple projects, including documentation and prioritization
6. Managing external vendors and partners
7. Configuring and implementing software solutions

9. Monitoring progress, risks, and change requests
10. Driving user adoption through change management and communication
11. Managing project budgets and expenses
12. Supporting post-implementation activities and continuous improvements
Application Maintenance and Continuous Improvement
1. Conducting lessons learned and gathering user feedback
2. Identifying and addressing improvement areas
3. Monitoring vendor performance and SLAs
4. Managing application maintenance budgets
5. Ensuring governance, compliance, and system integrity
Business Applications Management
1. Managing the lifecycle of business applications
2. Supervising system integration and roadmaps
3. Collaborating with vendors and driving contractual negotiations
4. Supporting cross-functional system optimization with infrastructure teams
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Professional experience:
* At least 5 years in a similar role within an international or consulting environment
* Experience in transformation initiatives as a Functional Analyst
* Deep knowledge of Demand to Stock processes in pharma, compliant with GxP regulations
* Successful track record in leading IT projects, especially in manufacturing sectors
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and working with manufacturing and engineering functions
* Experience with SAP PM or similar systems, calibration management, and C&Q systems
* Knowledge of SAP PP or other ERP platforms is a plus
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is beneficial
* Familiarity with Smart Plant/Factory technologies is a plus
