In order to support learning and teaching innovation at Bocconi University, we are looking for a Learning Designer for Higher Education to join our Educational Innovation Center, BUILT (Bocconi Innovations in Learning and Teaching). BUILT is part of R&D focused on teaching experiments, searching for innovative methods, and designing enhanced learning experiences, including online and blended learning, with effective use of AI tools. BUILT is a team composed of highly committed professionals with diverse skills and a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, interaction, dynamism, and innovation. Opportunity and Key Responsibilities The Learning Designer will collaborate with academic and staff members to map and assess course needs, develop learning outcomes, define teaching and assessment methods, and create multimedia and interactive content using instructional design models and innovative tools. They will also write course outlines and storyboards, train faculty on course design and delivery, and facilitate internal training sessions focused on hybrid education experiences. The main areas of activity include : Learning Design Assessing and mapping learning and teaching needs Course design Storyboarding Developing instructional resources Setting up learning environments Monitoring and evaluating learning experiences Research and Development Exploring, analyzing, and researching AI scenarios for creating enhanced learning and teaching experiences Training and Support Leading demo sessions and contributing to faculty training on teaching methods and design models Reviewing and editing training materials on teaching and learning practices Qualifications and Requirements Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related postgraduate specialization in learning design / multimedia learning Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design, especially in online or hybrid education Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) Knowledge of LMS platforms such as Blackboard ULTRA and Canvas At least 6 months of international experience Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and multi-project management under deadlines Proficiency with Office365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably MS Project and PowerBI), Articulate 360, Adobe CC Suite, and web design tools Soft skills including curiosity, passion, enthusiasm, communication, time management, problem-solving, and creative thinking Experience applying or experimenting with AI tools in higher education is preferred and may be demonstrated during the interview We Offer A 12-month renewable collaboration contract.
