The Group has more than 1,800 employees located in 18 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia. /p pFor our headquarter in Rubbiano (PR) we are looking for a goal-oriented, high-skilled and proactive Purchasing Manager. /p pThe Purchasing Manager, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, is responsible for the comprehensive management of the purchasing function at Lincotek Rubbiano. This role ensures the timely and quality-driven procurement of materials, components, and services, in alignment with production requirements and the company’s cost and efficiency objectives. Additionally, at the divisional level, the Purchasing Manager actively contributes to the development and implementation of improvement actions and projects for the purchasing function within the Surface Solutions division. This position collaborates closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Logistics functions at both local and divisional levels, ensuring adherence to company policies and internal standards. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and execute purchasing strategies for key product categories. /li liNegotiate contracts, commercial terms, and framework agreements with suppliers. /li liEnsure compliance with delivery schedules, quality standards, cost constraints, contractual obligations, and company policies. /li liMonitor and analyze market trends and manage associated risks. /li liManage the full procurement cycle : from request for quotation, order issuance, and confirmation, to delivery monitoring, returns management, and claims handling. /li liCollaborate with Logistics to optimize inventory levels and monitor KPI performance related to stock rotation. /li liOversee the management of material and supplier master data within the ERP system. /li liMonitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the purchasing function to senior management. /li liAlign the purchasing function with the company’s objectives related to quality, safety, and sustainability. /li liManage the selection, qualification, and development of suppliers in collaboration with the Quality Assurance (QA) team. /li liSupport international entities within the Surface Solutions division in the development and implementation of divisional purchasing strategies. /li liFoster the adoption of best practices within the purchasing function, promoting standardization and efficiency across the division. /li liContribute to the development and maintenance of approved supplier lists and cross-functional supplier evaluation criteria. /li liProvide technical expertise on the procurement of critical materials and services, supporting group-wide initiatives. /li liParticipate in strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and cost optimization initiatives at the divisional level. /li liTrack and share information on key raw material markets and major risk trends impacting the group. /li liFacilitate knowledge sharing between plants on supplier relations, pricing strategies, procurement methodologies, and management tools. /li liSupport the alignment and evolution of procurement processes within the group’s ERP systems. /li liContribute to global projects and initiatives related to sustainability and operational excellence within the purchasing function. /li /ul h3Supervisory Responsibility /h3 pDirect management of the Purchasing team. /p h3Education and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or related fields. /li liA minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing roles within structured manufacturing environments. /li liExperience within global or multinational companies is highly desirable. /li liExperience in structured companies, preferably in the automotive, electronics, power, or oil gas sectors. /li liProven operational management experience within the purchasing function. /li liExperience with multi-site purchasing function development and improvement projects is an advantage. /li liAdvanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP mandatory). /li liFamiliarity with Lean methodologies applied to Supply Chain operations. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liStrong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. /li liExcellent continuous improvement and cost optimization mindset. /li liStrong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret data to support decision-making. /li liProven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively within multi-site environments. /li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills. /li liHigh standards of integrity and professionalism. /li liFluent in English (both written and spoken), with the ability to work in international environments. /li /ul h3Work Environment /h3 ul liPrimarily office-based with frequent interaction with production, logistics, and staff departments. /li liOccasional in-person meetings with other divisional entities (both remote and on-site). /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 ul liThis role involves extensive computer use and requires travel to suppliers and other company sites. /li /ul h3Position Type / Expected Hours of Work /h3 ul liFull-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on business needs. /li /ul h3Travel Requirements /h3 ul liFrequent travel to Surface Solutions division sites, particularly in Hickory (NC), as well as supplier visits depending on project needs. /li /ul pLincotek provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
