Mission The resource will follow and support flight tests as Flight Test Director (also known as jolly). The resource will support flight testing and certification activities, involving planning flight tests, coordinating, supervising flight test campaigns, briefing, debriefing, communicating with pilots, and ensuring compliance with technical objectives, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Key Accountabilities Contribute to the full flight test process, from planning to post-flight evaluation. Work closely with Flight Test Engineers (FTEs), test pilots, system engineers, and ground crew. Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings with the test team. Manage real-time mission operations and make prompt decisions in case of issues. Education Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering Qualifications Good knowledge of aeronautical systems and their configuration. Problem solving and teamwork skills. Valid aeronautical radio telephony certification (ITA/ENG). Ability to perform under pressure and in high-stress environments, with strong decision-making skills. Outstanding communication and leadership abilities. Fluent in technical English. Ability to make effective decisions by structuring activities according to priorities, actions, resources, and constraints. Big-picture thinking and reinterpretation of different situations.
