In this position, the successful candidate will help manage an experienced design team and be exposed to the entire product lifecycle from definition and requirements through IC design to silicon support. /ppThis is a pivotal role, with critical impact on the business development of the organization. /ppbJob Location : /b /ppThe VISHAY IC Design Team located In Northern Italy will be tasked of defining / designing and bringing to production complex analog mixed power management ICs that are going to be at the core of – but not limited to - High Peformance Computing systems. /ppbWhat you will be doing : /b /pulliDevelopment of IC architectures for Switching Regulators, DC / DC controllers, Power Stages, Smart Power Switches and other analog products.Verification of design at block-level, IC level, and system level. /liliSpecification and design of analog mixed-signal sub-systems. /liliDefine schedule and oversee execution in the whole product development cycle /liliActive participation in product and technology roadmap planning and implementation. /liliLead the team during periodic design reviews. /liliMaintenance of engineering documents in accordance with quality processes. /liliStructured tracking and implementation of design improvements. /liliSupport for test-engineering, product engineering and operations as well as participation in ATE data reviews, limit reviews and device yield analysis. /li /ulpbWhat you will bring along : /b /pulliM.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher qualification. /lili20+ years of circuit design experience in Power Mgmt ICs and Switching Regulator ICs. /liliMaster of power conversion topologies and underlying concepts. /liliModelling (system-verilog, verilogams) and generating specifications and validation criteria of DC-DC converter systems and sub-systems (including ADC / DAC, Reference biasing circuits, LDO, Oscillators, PLL, Sensors, Drivers). /liliGood understanding on how to plan for ESD and Latchup robust design. /liliPhysical understanding and use experience of CMOS / BiCMOS / BCD Process Technologies as well as of vertical technologies for discrete MOSFETs. /liliFamiliarity with packaging technologies, and performance implications. /liliHands-on test and characterization of ICs.
