We are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program, working at the intersection of operations and safety to drive real-time solutions that protect our people. You will serve as the site’s safety facilitator, partnering with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations and transform safety data into actionable strategies. You will build a high-performing WHS team and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and implement the Global WHS Program at the site with precision and passion. Partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily operations and drive risk reduction. Use data-driven insights to develop innovative safety solutions that balance safety with productivity. Build trust, influence change, and drive results through comprehensive risk assessments and data-to-action strategies. Develop and lead a high-performing WHS team and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Lead safety leadership initiatives, measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and address non-compliance through site audits. Oversee strategic partnerships with Operations, manage recordkeeping, WHS training, and workplace safety programs. Additional Job Elements Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading areas. Climb and descend stairs as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 5 years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations. 5 years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management. Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. Preferred Qualifications Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site with at least 250 people. Master’s degree. Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. Certified Safety Professional. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders. Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,500/year in our highest geographic market.
