We are seeking a Maître d'Hôtel for the upcoming season (spring / summer 2025) to join our restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives on challenges, and possesses exceptional taste and customer service skills.
The Maître manages dining room operations, oversees the front of house team, and ensures impeccable service and customer relations at all times.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, responsibilities include:
* Anticipating guest needs and resolving complaints to deliver personalized, high-quality service.
* Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager on staff development and managing daily operations according to standards.
* Maintaining professional relationships with guests and colleagues.
The candidate should demonstrate:
* Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
* Teamwork and proactive assistance to colleagues.
* Results-driven approach with goal setting and resource management.
* Respect and inclusiveness regardless of background or position.
* Ability to advise on pricing strategies and review them regularly.
Additional requirements include:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry.
* Fluency in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
* Experience in international fine dining establishments.
* Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines, and HACCP certification.
We offer a seasonal labor contract under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Maitre, with a start date in April 2025 and end in November 2025, with potential for ongoing collaboration.
The gross monthly salary is approximately €2,350, plus additional benefits such as bonuses, accommodation, transport tickets, and staff amenities. Team members can enjoy complimentary stays and discounts across Belmond properties and services.
