PpA great opportunity to join as a Director of Finance at a Luxury 5 star property in Milan /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTo direct, manage and support the development, implementation, maintenance and administration of all financial controls and accounting procedures, based upon a maximization of internal control techniques consistent with Group corporate management established policy and generally accepted accounting principles, as adapted to the requirements of the hotel’s management contract and other local legal requirements /li liTo play an active role in the management of the hotel and to exercise a responsive attitude to the needs of the General Manager and other members of the hotel management team. /li liTo ensure compliance to terms and conditions of the hotel’s management contract, with specific regard to provisions relating to the company’s responsibilities as the managers and bringing any discrepancies to the immediate attention of the General Manager and group corporate management. /li liTo actively involved in the search for opportunities to improve the profitability of the hotel and encourage the preparation of exception reports and analyses to help meet and measure the success of this objective. /li liTo manage, supervise and support all subordinate employees, with a view to optimizing the profitability of the hotel and improving the guest experience. /li liTo initiate employee development and evaluation programs for all subordinate staff to ensure the highest level of professional competence and efficient continuity within those positions. /li liTo organize an efficient treasury function to provide proper management of the hotel’s working capital and cash flow in accordance with Group corporate management minimum guidelines and within the requirements of the hotel’s management contract. Also, to ensure excessive investment is not made in receivables or inventories and that sufficient liquidity is maintained to meet the hotel’s obligations /li liTo cooperate and support the General Manager and the Human Resources department on strategic matters. /li liTo support learning and development activities of the finance and purchasing team. /li liTo support and adhere to all policies procedures relating to Safe, Sound and Sustainablilty. /li liTo act as a hotel ambassador at all times. /li liTo carry out any additional duties requested by management, related to hotel operational activities /li /ul h3Requriements /h3 ul liBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance /li li10 years of comparable experience /li liProlific in all Windows Based Software Application /li liStrong Level of Proficiency in Excel /li liPrioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines /li liEffective management, leadership, organizational and communications skills /li liExcellent communication skills both written/verbal; fluency in Italian and English is required /li liItalian citizenship, structured working experience in Italy, general fiscal principles knowledge /li /ul pOnly Shortlisted Candidates will be contacted. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
