What You’ll Do & Who You Are
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Subito’s team. Our mission is to build data-powered services to make Subito a smarter product.
The Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics techniques and statistical modelling, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to business problems
Your Typical Day
* Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a Machine Learning model in Subito: design, implement, test and deploy in production.
* Push forward the ML practice finding new use cases, testing new techniques and incorporating best practices
* Ensure observability and support on the existing models in production
* Formulate hypotheses and design experiments to prove the value of your models in production
* Design clear, automated reports to democratise data access to the whole company
* Get to know and help design our data ake to extract as much value as possible and to better model our business
Your Identikit
* 6+ years of experience in Data-related jobs of which at least 3 years as Data Scientist
* Highly proficient with Python
* Hands on experience in designing, training and deploying ML models
* Highly proficient with data extraction tools (SQL, Spark…)
* Experience in applied statistical techniques
* Experience with software development tools (Docker, Git, Cloud infrastructure, …)
Nice To Have
* Data visualization and presentation skills to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner
* Good English proficiency level
* Prior experience in a digital company
* Experience with ML Ops tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, CI/CD, …)
