We are planning to build our Ready to Build Utility Scale Ground Mounted Solar PV and Agri-PV projects in Southern Italy and looking for a Solar Project Manager to manage the construction of our PV projects.
Responsibilities
Implement project plan, timelines and schedules with field personnel
Maintain schedule and budget for entire life cycle of all projects
Establish and maintain a positive work relationship with all personnel and outside vendors/contractors
Conduct site surveys to determine local conditions affecting the design and research costs of local supplies to be included in the project budget
Work with the design & engineering team to review all project documents and information provided by the customer/developer during the design process
Prepare of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Certify that all contracts and associated documentation are with correct personnel prior to start of project
Ensure subcontractor and vendor work is being completed in accordance with the contract specifications and within project budgets
Communicate with project manager and other personnel, status, progression, obstacles and completed tasks to ensure that projects run smoothly with all concerned parties
Complete all daily and progress reports
Management and supervision of site engineers and PoW subcontractors
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, both internally and for our management team
Receive and maintain inventory of all project related materials
Create and maintain a daily log of construction conditions, events and progress, including pictures and complete project documents
Schedule all labour, materials, onsite services, inspections and shutdowns
Schedule and coordinate all Jurisdictional permits
Adherence with local regulations and addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors
Develop construction methods to optimize cost, equipment utilization, schedule efficiency, and communication with headquarter
Attend coordination meetings to provide updates to schedules, drawings, and specifications.
Actively participate in the development of the forecasts of Projects to incorporate resources, submittals, approvals, lead times, restraints, and milestones
Coordination in the handover of the project to the internal O&M team
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of solar photovoltaic systems
Qualifications
Ideally,
Degree in Engineering (preferably Energy, Electrical, Aerotechnical, Mechanical or Civil).
Proven experience in the construction of photovoltaic plants with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medium or large plants (minimum 5MW) in EPC, Investment, or Solar project development companies.
Excellent knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (Bilingual).
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
EU driving licence.
Work location: South Italy (Brindisi,Lecce,Napoli,Puglia,Bari and near these places) - with the possibility of working remotely and going to the office at least once a week.
