As Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring Massa & Florence Plant Special Test activities according to the production plan.
You will ensure the availability of materials and fixtures, comply with local and internal rules, and work within the budget.
As Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist you will be responsible for :
Responsibilities
Ensuring the availability of shop items (materials and fixtures), in compliance with internal HSE and national rules (e.g. PED, ATEX).
Planning the preservation of shop items according to technical requirements.
Interacting with the Procurement department to manage critical issues and implement strategic initiatives to simplify processes and reduce costs.
Coordinating the Short Term Planner team and allocating the correct daily priorities to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
Providing logistics support for unloading materials that require the use of a crane and/or present safety issues (HSE).
Managing master planning, material processes and systems; prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
Exchanging data and information, raising concerns about interaction and also suggesting improvements to products, processes and procedures.
Leading a small manufacturing unit or part of a larger unit with a budget of over $1.5 million.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills.
Proven analytical and organizational ability.
