Role Responsibilities Facilitate training and mentoring of SW Rigging personnel and Installation Representatives to enable tracking the training of assigned new hires and auditing performance of installers and SW riggers.Engages in assigned special projects as well as assists with New Product Introduction and engages in new release first installations.First line support in problem-resolution, Assistant Request procedures, and provides technical assistance remotely and onsite to Software Installers when necessary in a timely manner.Considerable experience, ability, and knowledge of complicated upgrades, particularly in the tasks described within VMS Service Technical Bulletins. Varian Software Installation or Service experience is essential.
Skills & Experience Required
Expert knowledge of and sound professional experience with MS SQL databases, Windows Server and Client architecture. Citrix / Parallels and Virtual server hosting. Cloud Architecture knowledge on hosting applications is preferred.In-depth knowledge on Varian Software Suite ARIA and ECLIPSE. ETHOS Knowledge is preferable.Experience of troubleshooting, diagnosis and assisting repair of Varian software and Standard IT systems.Minimum 3+ years of experience.
