Position Summary We’re looking for a System Validation and Calibration Engineer in Arco (TN) Location. The System Validation and Calibration Engineer will execute activities to integrate, check, and approve the conformity of systems with customer requirements. In this role, the candidate is expected to collaborate with the team in defining, planning, and performing testing campaigns of mechatronic systems, leveraging Systems Engineering techniques with a holistic approach. Main opportunities and challenges: Work in a stimulating environment Access to multi-disciplinary expertise Technical and professional growth Development/application of state-of-the-art technologies Communication with Management and Leadership Main Responsibilities Depending on ongoing projects and roles, activities may include: Definition of V&V plans of mechatronic systems Utilization of tools and methods for software validation and calibration Laboratory and on-vehicle testing activities Experimental data post-processing and analysis Preparation, organization, and presentation of project documentation (design documents, technical reports, costs analysis) Application of Systems Engineering principles and workflow as per One Dana Mechatronic System development approach Validation of mechatronic systems (hardware and software) Calibration of software for OH machine applications On-field vehicle testing and performance evaluation Reporting V&V activities updates to management and leadership Job Position Requirements Education: University master’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Automation/Electronic Engineering. Professional background: 3-5 years experience in Automotive/Industrial projects involving mechatronics, preferably including experimental/laboratory activities.
