RINA is currently recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join its offices in Genoa, Rome, Naples, Bari, or Lecce within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division .
Mission
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure solutions that support the company's strategic goals. This role aims to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud services, driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture Design and Development: Design and develop cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
2. Collaboration and Implementation: Work with IT, security, and development teams to implement cloud strategies; gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Cloud Services Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and select cloud providers and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) based on business needs; conduct cost-benefit analyses.
4. Deployment and Management: Oversee deployment, management, and operation of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud systems; monitor and optimize for cost and performance.
5. Governance and Security: Develop cloud governance frameworks and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
6. Technical Leadership and Guidance: Lead cloud migration and integration projects; mentor team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cloud trends; recommend and implement improvements to cloud infrastructure.
8. Troubleshooting and Support: Resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure; provide incident management support.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
* Deep knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
* Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
