We are seeking a Business Controller to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy. You will be a proactive finance business partner, supporting the team during month-end closing, budget and forecast processes, variance analysis, and cost-control activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting for the legal entities, respecting internal and group deadlines.
Your mission
* Monitor and analyze business performance, including revenue streams, costs, and profit margins across various business units and regions.
* Run business and cost control processes to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting.
* Support the maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial targets aligned with strategic objectives.
* Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in revenue and costs.
* Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and insights for senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency.
This is what you bring along
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
* Proven 1-2 years of experience in Business & Cost Controlling within the Services industry, preferably Tech or Advertising.
* Understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost structures.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques.
* Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Principles.
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with NAV system and consolidation tools (e.g., Tagetik, HFM) is a plus.
* Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); please submit your CV in English.
